Matt Ray joined the Red River Science and Technology, LLC (RRST) team in August 2019. With extensive experience in human resources, Matt is committed to fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring employee engagement across the organization. He believes that a strong organizational culture is vital for attracting and retaining top talent, and he strives to create an environment where employees feel valued and empowered.

Before joining RRST, Matt gained valuable experience in the casino industry as a Recruiter, where he spent multiple years developing his expertise in talent acquisition and employee relations. This role allowed him to gain critical insights into HR practices that drive organizational success. One of his notable achievements during this time was implementing a streamlined recruitment process that significantly reduced time-to-hire and improved candidate quality.

A significant part of Matt's career has been spent in the government contracting field. As HR Manager at RRST, he is responsible for overseeing all employee relations matters and driving the overall success of the HR department. Under his leadership, RRST has grown nearly fourfold, showcasing his ability to align HR strategies with the company’s growth objectives. He has initiated several employee engagement programs that have enhanced workplace morale and productivity.

Matt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, where he laid the groundwork for his HR career. He is also pursuing additional certifications in HR management to further enhance his skills. His academic background, combined with his practical experience, equips him to address the diverse needs of the workforce and support the organization’s mission.

Beyond his professional role, Matt is actively involved in the community, volunteering with local organizations focused on youth development and workforce readiness. He believes in giving back and helping others find their path in the professional world.

In his free time, Matt enjoys bowling, watching sports and spending time with family and friends. These interests help him maintain a balanced lifestyle and bring fresh perspectives to his work.
